Citadel Construction served as the general contractor for the full renovation of this 24,000-square-foot museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We began by stripping the existing three-story commercial building down to its core and introducing a new traffic flow pattern that required constructing two separate elevator and fire stairwell shafts in the center of the structure. Despite the complex masonry and metalwork needed, we successfully completed the project within the targeted six-month timeline.

As construction progressed, we collaborated with artisans from around the country who contributed to dozens of unique interior build-outs and a large-scale exterior sign wrapping two sides of the building. The end result is a one-of-a-kind attraction that seamlessly integrates creative design with practical functionality
