The Pines

In 1944, The Pines Theater was Sevierville’s premier entertainment hub—showcasing Westerns by day and live performances by night. Dolly Parton had her first ever performance there in 1956. When new owners decided to bring the historic venue back, Citadel Construction was chosen as the general contractor for our skill in restoring historic buildings and bringing them into the future while keeping the storied past alive.

The scope of the work was a full renovation. Our team removed all windows, façade work, flooring and removed interior walls to open the space up. New windows, framing, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical was installed. The outside of the building was restored and painted to honor and celebrate the history of the building. The end result is a refined & exciting event space with multiple gaming areas, duckpin bowling and a signature bar for food and beverages.
